“Intro to Comedy Improv” is a dynamic workshop designed to teach the basics of improvisational comedy through fun and interactive exercises.

Participants will learn how to create scenes, develop characters, and respond in the moment using essential improv tools such as listening and collaboration.

Beyond the stage, this workshop also helps strengthen skills that can be applied to everyday life and other areas of personal and professional growth—such as communication, adaptability, confidence, and creative thinking.

This workshop encourages creativity, presence, and play while having fun with comedy.

No prior experience is required.

Isaira Noriega is a Puerto Rican artist, actress, and circus performer, as well as a creator and writer of theatrical productions. She specializes in fire dance, juggling, theatrical clown, aerial acrobatics, and comedy theater, with over ten years of experience in theatrical clown and more than five years as a professional improviser.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and Psychology and has completed additional studies at the School of Creation and Performance Cabuia in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Also, she holds a diploma in Long Format Improv in Bogota, Colombia.

She has worked with companies such as Circo Teatro Bandada, ACIRC, Cirqueando, Circo Nacional de Puerto Rico, Circo Fest, and Y No Había Luz, among others. She is currently a member of the Teatro Breve ensemble.
