Dannie has traveled the world to share the stage and learn from the best in the burlesque business including, her Burlesque mothers, legend and Queen of Burlesque Tempest Storm, Lady Ginger, The Perle Noire (fan dancing), The Maine Attraction, Cassandra Fox (Caribbean dance and RAQS), Madame Nymphaea (Egyptian bellydance), Amber DiGiovani (fan dancing) Lou Lou D’Vil, Yulietta (pole and floor work) , Minnie Tonka, etc. as well as studying improv at the world famous Second City, in Chicago. As a trained Massage Therapist Danielle understands body dynamics and has a slow sultry style that protects the core of our body’s strength and has committed her education to developing a joyful, commanding, interactive and celebrated stage presence. Dannie has over 20 years experience as a professional Ecdysiast and burlesque historian. In addition, (in 2014) Dannie Diesel was honored to be a judge at the historic Burlesque Hall of Fame weekender.
In drop in, one hour class we will explore movement for beginners to the art of the tease.
This class is for students of all physical abilities.
You will need comfortable clothing and dance shoes that will allow you to stretch and move freely. Heels or tennis shoes are fine. Listen to your body. Please bring water and a towel
