June 24, 25, 26, 27 -Intro to Flexibility Workshop By Yulie Padilla

$120.00

Intro to Flexibility Workshop By Yulie Padilla June 24, 25, 26, 27 - 7:30 start time. Ticket Price Includes All Four Workshops.

Hi, my name Yulie Padilla and I’m a Puerto Rican performance artist and certified instructor in diverse movement practices with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. I co-own Siluetas Pole, Body & Mind, a private home studio in Puerto Rico led by women to offer wellness oriented movement practices for all.

I will be offering my workshop Intro to Flexibility at my new second home in the Quad Cities, Ecdysiast Arts Museum, on June 24, 25, 26 & 27 at 7:30pm. It will consist of a four day, 90-minute class that focuses on the development of strength and flexibility for overall increased range of motion, better posture and general well-being.

With this progressive workshop I aim to teach a well rounded practice that helps you understand how to develop a consistent flexibility approach to your training. Each class consists of a warm-up to prepare the body and redirect the mind toward the practice ahead. This is followed by conditioning exercises to develop strength, increase muscle and tendon length, improve mobility, and increase flexibility for overall well-being. We conclude with a cool-down to allow the body to properly recover. We’ll cover topics ranging from splits, to backbends and twists of the spine.

This workshop is for everybody, at any level of experience with their flexibility or movement practice. You’ll need comfortable clothes to move in, a yoga mat and yoga blocks if possible. Something to take notes on is suggested but not required.

Cost of the workshop is $120 p/p for the four day workshop.

Have questions, want to learn more about my work or want to connect before the workshop? Look me up in any of these places…
